Contra-indications
- People under 16 years because the chamber is larger, so the teeth are more sensitive during the bleaching.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- People with teeth or Gum’s, including the sensitivity associated with gingival recession or restorations (fillings) defective.
- People allergic to peroxide.
- People suffering of gingivitis, Periodontitis or advanced caries.
- The restorations (fillings), crowns or veneers do not bleach peroxide. It must again consider these restorations after bleaching if the result leaves unequal brightness.
There are some situations where dental treatment is contraindicated and this list is a good summary of those people who should avoid elective dental treatment.
