Good nutrition is pivotal in sustaining health and preventing chronic diseases and illnesses. The nutritional needs of women differ greatly from those of men due to women’s reproductive functions and hormones. As many of the nutrients our bodies need to stay healthy occur naturally in the foods we eat, maintaining good nutrition is simple by practicing a few daily dietary guidelines.

Eat Breakfast
1. Many women are so busy in the mornings preparing for school, work, or taking care of family that they skip breakfast and deprive their bodies of the energy needed to begin the day. Eating breakfast not only provides the body with the fuel it needs in the mornings, but also plays a significant role in weight maintenance. When the body is denied a meal, it goes into starvation mode and responds by slowing down the metabolism and storing food as fat.

Worship Your Vitamins, Minerals, and Nutrients
2. Because of the reproductive functions the female body serves, there are certain vitamins and minerals that are essential for women.

Women require more iron than men to compensate for the iron that is lost during menstruation and childbirth. Inadequate iron levels result in anemia and fatigue. Women under the age of 50 should consume 18mg of iron daily and reduce this amount to 8mg after age 50. Eat iron-rich foods such as red meat, green leafy vegetables, eggs, poultry, and beans.

Calcium is critical to maintaining strong bones and reducing the risk of developing osteoporosis as the body ages. According to womenshealth.gov, women are four times more likely than men to develop osteoporosis due to the reduction of the bone-protecting hormone, estrogen, after menopause.

The recommended daily intake is 1,300 mg for women ages 9-18, 1,000 mg for ages 19-50, and 1,200 mg for ages 50 and above. Calcium can be found in dairy products and dark, leafy vegetables. Vitamin D facilitates the body’s intake of calcium. The body naturally absorbs Vitamin D from sunlight, but it is also found in foods such as eggs, salmon, and milk.

Folate is a critical vitamin during women’s reproductive years as it aids in cell production and maintenance. Folate decreases the risk of birth defects and neural tube defects. Eat foods such as beans, fruit, tomatoes and dark green vegetables.

Hydrate
3. It is imperative to eat healthy foods to obtain the nutrients we need, but drinking water is the cornerstone to keeping the nutrients healthy and vital. Water is responsible for hydrating, transporting, and nourishing cells and nutrients. Water also dissolves and expels waste to keep the body clean, and breaks down carbohydrates, fats, and proteins to maintain a healthy weight and muscle tone. As the body is composed of 60 percent water, it’s important to keep the body hydrated by drinking eight 8 glasses of water daily.

1. Age, for some specific diseases in infants (children under five) and older people more easily attacked. In other words, people at a very young age or old age are more vulnerable, less resistant to certain infectious diseases. 4. Nutrition, good nutrition in general will increase body resistance against infectious diseases resulting from malnutrition but instead someone susceptibility to disease infection.
5. Trauma, caused by one form of trauma is the cause of the vulnerability of a person against a particular infectious disease.

Abdominal fat, or rather not having abdominal fat is a key characteristic for having a beautiful body. Logically, the fact of not having fat around the abdomen, is the dream of every woman.
If this were not enough, many studies have shown that the abdomen is advantageous means trouble. According to a survey conducted at the University of Texas, a person who has a belt large body size may increase the risk of heart problems.
MRI and other examinations have shown that women have a circumference of over 81 cm and men with a size of over 94 cm have a high risk. And they need not be obese. The coordinator of the research, said: “The fat that accumulates around the waist seems to be more active biologically, in insofar as it secretes inflammatory proteins, while the fat around the hips does not increase the risk of cardiovascular disease.

It is during childhood that should prevent localized fat. “A small belly is more risk compared to a flat stomach.”
According to Dr. Márcio Mancini, endocrinologist, is the fact that this part of the body, stimulates the production of enzymes that trigger a dangerous process: “The fat in the abdominal area resulting in increased flow of fatty acids in the liver and increases the production of glucose and triglecerideos. This can lead to a state of resistance to insulin action, and even cause diabetes.

A warning for all ages:

advises that good nutrition and healthy habits to solve this problem. The most important thing is to lose weight through diet and physical activity or supplements anti-obesity “

Any person of any age can suffer from the accumulation of fat around the waist. This situation does not reach an age group in particular. Even child abdominal fat may be harmful.
The measures considered to be the best measure in terms of health for women, less than 80 cm. For men: less than 94 cm. Above these measures it is advisable to take precautions.
